China Airlines: New Delhi stopover saves one hour on flight to Rome

Tags :China, China Airlines

China Airlines flights to Rome will stop over in Delhi instead of Bangkok beginning on December 1, 2009, saving almost one hour of travel time, and making CAL the first airline to operate a direct flight between Delhi and Rome.

Starting on December 1, China Airlines will operate three round-trip flights each week from Taoyuan International Airport to Delhi and Rome. A specially retrofitted A330-300 will be used on the new route, with a two-class configuration that offers passengers greater comfort on the long-haul flight.
