As a part of the program, China Airlines and China Eastern Airlines have each selected one flight attendant and join opposite side of flight on Taipei–Shanghai-Taipei route. The flight attendant from one airline will observe the service procedures of the other airline to gain a better understanding of passenger profiles and to learn from each other.

Both airlines have selected their most experienced and elite flight attendants to participate in the program to provide even greater comfort as well as premium in-flight services. To comply with safety and operational regulations, these flight attendants will join the flight as passengers and act only as observers.
