The contract details were not disclosed. “Hainan Airline’s avionics selection includes our Air Data Inertial Reference Unit, or ADIRU, which provides 100% availability of Required Navigation Performance (RNP), increasing aircraft efficiency to keep Hainan on-schedule, and reducing costs through fuel savings,” said Mike Madsen, vice president, Airlines, Honeywell Aerospace. “With more than 35,000 inertial reference systems flying today, Honeywell provides the reliability and operations savings that will benefit Hainan as long as they fly these A320s.”
