United Airlines and Ameco Beijing to continue their partnership

United Airlines and Ameco Beijing to continue their partnership
Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation (Ameco Beijing) announced it has been awarded a five-year contract for heavy maintenance on United Airline’s Boeing 747 fleet.

The new contract is not the first cooperation between United Airlines and Ameco Beijing on airframe heavy maintenance. Already in 2005 United awarded Ameco Beijing a five-year contract for heavy maintenance of its B777 fleet.

Ameco Beijing is a specialist for heavy maintenance of Boeing 747 and Boeing 777 aircraft. More than 1,400 heavy maintenance events and modifications of various kinds were completed since the foundation of the Joint Venture in 1989. At present, Ameco Beijing possesses a 4-bay hangar, A380 hangar as well as a brand-new Boeing 747 painting & overhaul hangar dedicated for heavy maintenance services.
