Viva Macau Airlines, Macau’s international award-winning airline, today celebrated the commencement of thrice weekly direct services between Macau and Hanoi on the eve of the Chinese New Year and Tet holiday.

The inauguration event attended by Mr. Pham Cao Phong, Vietnam Consul General, Mr Antonio Rato, Advisor of CAM (Macau International Airport Co. Ltd.) and Dr. Reg Macdonald, CEO of Viva Macau, took place in the Macau International Airport. In light of the Chinese New Year, Viva Macau arranged a “Choy San” to distribute red packets with MOP100 Viva Macau coupons (terms and conditions apply) to everyone in the airport on the day. The gesture was well received by the many holiday-goers at Macau International Airport on the day.

A welcome was also arranged and attended by Vietnamese media in the Hanoi International Airport to welcome the holiday passengers and the Consul General arriving on Viva Macau’s first flight to Hanoi.

Viva Macau Airlines offers competitive fares from only US$59 (MOP449) for a one-way Economy Class ticket and US$299 (MOP2,399) for a one-way Business Class ticket. Taxes and surcharges exclusive.

Viva Macau will operate three flights weekly on every Tuesday/ Thursday/ Saturday, with a choice of morning, evening or afternoon flight: ZG257 departs Macau at 7:45, 20:10 and 14:20 arriving in Hanoi at 8:45, 21:10 and 15:20, and ZG256 departs Hanoi at 9:30, 21:55 and 16:20 arriving in Macau at 12:30, 0:55 and 19:20 respectively.
