Simplifying the ticket purchasing process, customers using the new booking service will be able to search preferred travel dates, make and pay for their booking and print out an e-ticket. As part of the booking procedure, passengers with special dietary requirements will also have options to indicate their meal preference.

“I am confident that our online booking facility will prove very popular,” comments Raymond Ng, Director of Marketing and Sales. “The internet is an important distribution channel that adds significant reach to our sales network. We are looking forward to good growth in sales as a result of its introduction – especially from international customers.” He added.

To celebrate the launch, Hong Kong Airlines is offering special online fares from as low as HK$890 to selected destinations. Available for booking online from the 29th of February to the 6th of March, for travel between March 8th and June 30th, return flights from Hong Kong to Xiamen are available for HK$890* and from Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City for HK$1,140*.
