AirAsia aumenta sus servicios en la ruta Kuala Lumpur-Gillin
Due to the robust demand, AirAsia is increasing its flight frequency between Kuala Lumpur and Guilin, China to daily direct flights from 01-May-09. Initially, AirAsia had launched its Guilin route in Jul-08 with four direct weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur’s Low Cost Carrier Terminal and Liangjiang Airport in Guilin.

AirAsia held a press conference in Haikou to mark the launch of its latest route from Kuala Lumpur to the capital of Hainan Province on 13-Jun-08. AirAsia was the first airline to offer daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Haikou. Since the launch of the route, AirAsia has recorded high demands for the new route and reported a 100% load factor for the inaugural flight which commenced on 22-May-08. AirAsia’s load factor for this route in May was 78%, which is quite strong for a new sector which was previously not served by any airlines.

(c) Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation: AirAsia announced plans to commence daily service to Guangzhou via Baiyun Airport from the LCC Terminal, Kuala Lumpur, beginning 16-Jan-08. This will be the fourth destination to Mainland China after Shenzhen, Xiamen and Macau within the group.
